Material
Bleeding / discoloration
Pinkish or reddish stains and discoloration in the coating - migration of pigments or chemical reactions from intermediate layers upwards through the paint system.

Cause
- Too much hardener mixed with polyester putty
- Hardener and putty not mixed thoroughly - uneven chemical reaction
- Old paint coatings on the bodywork incompatible with the new system
- Lack of insulation of putty with epoxy primer before painting
Prevention
- Observe the mixing ratio - use the scale, do not estimate by eye
- Mix the hardener and putty thoroughly until uniform consistency and color
- Always insulate polyester putty with 2K epoxy primer
Repair
- The hyperemia cannot be stopped or painted over - the peroxides will break through subsequent layers
- The only solution: sand the entire paint system to the metal in places where the defect occurred
- Rebuild the system according to technology, starting with proper insulation
